Nervous when it comes to sex

Hiya guys, just a quick one i hope someone can help me with!

so basically, i am literally always horny, and sometimes get waves of just being like, “i wish i had someone to f*ck, instead of my hand,” and recently i’ve had a few guys (that i actually like) ask to meet up and obviously do the deed. Now, i’m not a virgin, however i wouldn’t say i’m experienced at all, i lost my virginity to my guy best friend and it was a bit naff, if i’m being honest.

I am a very shy person, and whenever it gets to actually arranging a day to meet, i literally fill with dread, like, 2 hours ago i was hoping he’d ask to get it on, but now i’m like please no! i don’t know if i should just meet up with him and maybe drink a bit to get my nerves out of the way, or if i should just avoid it like usual?

He’s being really nice about it, especially when i said that i’m quite nervous about things like this. i’ve known him since i was about 10, but we’ve never really actually talked before. we both went to a NYE party and ended up sleeping in the same bed practically on top of eachother.
