I prefer consumable items. No matter how close I am to a couple, no, I don’t really want a house of tchotchkes with other people’s names & wedding dates on them and I feel like a jerk throwing them away.

Totally fine. My sister had homemade brownies wrapped up. I did Jordan almonds bc it was an orthodox wedding (I didn’t pay for this bc I don’t believe in favors). 
Usually people throw favors away. So either save the money or get something edible. 
I went to a wedding where Moon Pies were the favor. That was fun.

We had a 50k wedding. We didn’t waste money on tacky favors. We did have hershey kisses on the tables (we were married in Hershey).  We had premium open bar, filet and salmon, dessert station by a pastry chef and leading dj for entertainment.

My sister and her husband picked their favorite sees candy each, put them both in a box together, and that was the wedding gift! I loved it!

We did a candy bar with a box you could fill up! I got to pick all my favorite my hubby picked his and then any leftovers we knew we’d love! We had a little sign that said “love is sweet take a treat” it was perfect
