When will y’all start giving LO things like Gerber’s Puffs? She’s 6 months

My little girl is on stage 2 foods. Sitting up and I know puffs are considered stage 2 foods but I haven’t had a chance to ask my Pediatrician yet. Thoughts? What are y’all doing?

This is probably the naive first time mom in me but I’m going to try to avoid snacks (an idea from the book bringing up Bebe) I feel like most of the time snacks are used as behavior management. (I’ll check in in a few months when I’ll most likely be shoving a cup of snacks at her to keep her from melting down in a public place 😂)

Never, they’re just rice flour, not very nutritious

My boy is 6 1/2 months and I give him some but I break mine into smaller pieces till he is a bit older. He loves them.

I give my son the happy baby organic teethers! He loves them

My sons had some. I don’t give them on the regular but they melt in his mouth and it helps him practice the chewing/gumming motion. He enjoys them!

I give LO these sometimes. They’re rice free and  melt in the mouth but easier to grab than puffs. She loves them. I snack on them too because they’re so yummy.

We use peanut butter bambas! My son is very picky, but loves these puffs! (Obviously we had tried peanut butter first before we offered this snack!)

Some say 8 months and some say 12 months on them so I probably wont be for a while. 
I have given my boys baby mum mum's though and they love those.
