Baby monitor

Hi guys. I borrowed the angelcare ac401 from a friend and love it. It uses the vox technology (only transmits sound when detected rather than continuously). The friend wants it back next week, I bought a second hand one off ebay and its crackly and faulty (ugh.) angelcare don't make this model anymore!

Csn you recommend a good sound monitor, that also uses vox rather than continuous sound transmission?

I have a separate camera (which I'm also borrowing until July to be fair) so ideally just sound, but a reasonably priced sound and video would be fine.
