Special vacation for first child

The last two years, we’ve been to Disney World. We won’t be going the next couple of years because baby#2 needs to be old enough for it to be enjoyable for the rest of the family. 😉

But since we have the new baby coming (in August), I’d like to do a short special trip for my son who will be 3.

I was thinking a weekend at Great Wolf Lodge. He loves water and slides so seems like a good idea.

Thoughts? Is anyone else planning something similar?
