For those with older babies/toddlers...

JJ

Are you still carrying them/lifting them up all the time? My 2.5 year old is 30 lbs and has always been a mamas boy, always asks to be held walking to the car, into a store, up the stairs, while we make dinner etc. I don’t mind doing any of these but it’s getting a bit harder, I can still manage okay but every time my mum sees me carrying him or hears him ask me to hold him she tries to hold him for me and says I really need to cut back on picking him up so much. Has anyone’s doctor/midwife told them something similar? I plan on asking my midwife what she thinks at my 30 week appointment next week. I feel like if my body isn’t telling me to stop I can still manage?
