Can I get pregnant cycle after IUD removal?

I was on my period when it was removed and according to the app I would be 1 dpo. Has anyone had luck with getting pregnant after IUD removal in the first cycle?  Or did it take you a while? I have heard from my doctor you can get pregnant right away but also heard from other doctors that the hormones can stay a while and it can take months.

Got mine out Oct 7 and last period was Nov 5, I’m 9 weeks now. Same thing happened with my first child, out on Apr 2/17 and last period was May 3/17. 
The doctor told me it can take up to a year after removal for a healthy couple, but that she often sees people get pregnant almost right away.

I got mine out end of November and had my first ovulation cycle middle of December with no luck. I've heard mixed things as well 🤷🏼‍♀️
