if I don’t introduce kids TV shows to my son? I honestly don’t really like branded kids stuff and don’t want him begging for branded kids things....
Will he be missing out? I really just plan on having limited screen time as far as kids content. So far he’s only watched Baby Einsteins and some things with us, but no real kids television.

No, it's just TV. It's not important in any way. Good for you! I honestly hate branded kids clothes too.

we're the same way! we hope to not get him into any consumer hype. he watches little baby bum sometimes, but that's it. for toys we do wooden toys, nothing that's big box store. that goes for clothing as well, no big box stores. Have you heard of Waldorf education? my son will be going to a waldorf private school, so we are starting that lifestyle early on

May I ask why you don’t like branded kids stuff? I am by no means judging, simply curious because this is the first I’ve heard someone mention that.
And no, I don’t think it’s bad to not introduce TV, especially now as it is recommended babies less than one have zero screen time.

No. Truthfully I think all kids would be better off with out tv. But it’s a great distraction when some times you just need to make dinner, or clean, or actually sit and eat your own lunch for once lol!

Nothing wrong with that! The only thing I will say.... wait til they get friends in preschool. My oldest I didn’t do the Disney princesses, dolls, etc because she liked playing with cars, trains , blocks, etc. she wasnt into anything brands , just cuz I had Netflix no cable , this was when Netflix just started online streaming . 
When she started preschool she made a friend who only did dolls, barbies, princesses etc
That was our turning point cuz then she was obsessed
