Is it possible for your doctor to do this and not let you know they did it? Last week at my 38 week appointment my dr did the usual cervical exam and then he did something different he twisted his fingers in like a circle motion and I remember it felt so uncomfortable and I didn’t know why he did that, but I didn’t ask. Anyway I’ve been reading a lot of posts about membrane sweeps and my fried told me I should request one if I feel like I’m ready to have my baby because it could help but she told me it was painful. So me being a first time mom not knowing what this is I go to YouTube and I click on a drs video of her doing a membrane sweep on a uterus prop and she did a circle motion and it reminded me of what my dr did last time, is it possible he did it and didn’t mention it. I thought they had to ask or you had to request it? 😳
