Miscarriage?

Hi there. This would be my second pregnancy. I am 6 weeks and 2 days and have heavy bleeding a large clots coming out. Is this a miscarriage? I bleed with my first as well but I dont remember having clots like this.

If you are having bright red bleeding along with passing clots I’d recommend you call your doctor. There’s no reason to go to the ER unless advised by your doctor to do so. If it is a miscarriage which speaking from experience it sounds like one, there isn’t anything you can do. I’d recommend taking a few days off of work if possible and letting yourself just relax but definitely inform your doctor ASAP. My OB called me everyday while I was dealing with my Mc to check on me to make sure I wasn’t experiencing any issues.

Unfortunately it could be, but some people have bleeding and everything is fine. You should see your doctor for an ultrasound and bloodwork. Good luck ❤️

I bled with clots for 3 weeks with my first pregnancy. She is a happy healthy 7 months old! It’s possible all is ok but best to check in with your doctor.

If you are soaking more than one pad an hour I believe it’s recommended to go to the emergency room. I’m so sorry you’re going through this scary time and wish you get the answers you need ❤️
