Can you see the sex at 12w4d on u/s?

Question

In all my pregnancies I’ve never had an ultrasound at this stage. Always got one at like 8weeks to date the pregnancy then not again til the anatomy scan at 20wks. 
I go next Monday for my dating scan because I had to miss my ultrasound last month due to the flu. 
Has anyone been told the sex at that stage? 
I’ve never found out the sex before so I’m not even sure when the parts show up!

With my first it was very clear during our 12 week scan that he was a boy.. the u/s tech even blurted it out. Sure enough she was 100% correct. With this baby the u/s tech made a guess and said it was based on the nub theory, but added that things are still developing, so we’ll see if she was right or not at our anatomy scan.

My ultrasound was today (almost 13 weeks) and my doctor said he was certain it was a girl. He said “don’t go buying everything pink just yet, but I am very confident”

We got one today, 12w6d, and no one in the room could locate a penis on the copy machine view lol NIPT results will confirm in 2wks!

12 weeks is too early to be certain, but if you get good enough pictures you can usually get a pretty accurate guess with the nub Theory!

I wouldn't trust anything until closer to 20wks with ultrasound or blood test. I have seen WAY to many wrong in my time under 18wks

12weeks is too early. I think 14 weeks is the very earliest, and more commonly I’ve seen 16. 16 is probably like the, we feel very confident we’ll be able to tell at this stage milestone.

I found out at 13 weeks :) it is possible! My sons penis was very visible! lol
