Miscarriage or Molar Pregnancy

Christina

I found out I was pregnant with my second child on my husbands birthday 12/04/2019. My last period was 11/09/2019. We planned to announce to our families on Christmas Eve and we did so by framing a picture of my son by the Christmas Tree with a board that says from Only to Oldest. Everyone was excited for the news. Yesterday 01/06/2020 I was at work and felt a rush of fluid come out of me. My stomach dropped but I hoped it was maybe urine or discharge. When I touched my pants there was red blood on my hands. I had run to the bathroom where another gush came out. I went to the ER and proceeded to sit there for 8 hours until I could be seen. An ultrasound, bloodwork, and urine test were taken. My bloodwork came back with the high hcg hormone which was considered to be abnormal for being 8 weeks. My ultrasound came back with no visible baby and abnormal fluid. The doctor said the fluid seemed to be consistent with a molar pregnancy along with the abnormal high hormone count. I have a follow up doctors appointment tomorrow which would have been my first 8 week pregnancy appointment. I’m just curious if anyone has been through the same or if anyone could help with how they dealt with either loss. From what I’m gathering and reading...you can’t try again for 6 months to a year. Medically it would be easier for it to be a miscarriage as the body heals faster from it but heart wise it kills me. How do you cope with it being a miscarriage or a molar pregnancy?
