Piercing or tattoo?

Question

I desperately want to get a piercing, but can't decide where?
Can you all post your piercings or tattoos and their experience?
Or should i get a tattoo instead.
I feel between the tits is the best place to get one, is it?

I have a sleeve on my right arm. Hand and finger tattoo on that same arm. Also my right side of my ribs, both hips, back of neck, side of foot and left wrist tattooed. The most painful was my rib cage but it was a 4 hour tattoo.

I prefer tattoos because the healing process is faster. I have 12 tattoos and plan on getting way more.

I have 15 piercings and 2 tattoos and I’m only 16.  Before I start, lemme tell you that I am a hs junior with her first 2 years of college prerequisites almost done. Im responsible, get good grades, am top 3 in my class, etc. That’s why my mother allows me to do what I do. 
Got my first non ear piercing which was a nose at 12, then lip, then a bunch of cartilage, belly, tongue, and most recently, I pierced my nipples myself (with parental permission). I have a high pain tolerance and am educated on the anatomy, healing, risks, etc. I also have two tattoos on the tops of my thighs that are about the size of my hand. 
The nipples hurt less than most of my other piercings! All of my cartilage piercings and tongue hurt way more. Honestly, my tragus was the worst one (the cartilage was so thick it crunched several times). The tattoos hurt more than all of my piercings, but the pain lasted less than a day. For the piercings, the healing and the pain (though minor after being initially pierced) lasts wayyyy longer. 
The closer you get to the bones, nerves, or generally sensitive areas (inner thighs, breast tissue, ribs, etc) the more painful. Additionally, the darker/bolder the lines the higher the pain. So the underbust tattoo will probably hurt since it is right near sternum and rib cage (I think it’s a badass placement though and I have plans for mine too). 
If you’ve never really gone under a body mod needle before then an underbust tattoo probably isn’t the best choice, especially if it’s gonna be a decent sized one. I think thigh or arms would be better so you could judge the pain from there.

I have my nose pierced at 14, didn’t hurt just made my eye water.
Tongue-didn’t hurt that bad but seedling was what hurt the most got when I was 18.
Industrial- hurt a little- never healed correctly so I took it out after 6 months.
Belly button- didn’t hurt until I snagged it but now I’ve had it about 5 or 6 years maybe longer.
Lip- did not hurt at all, swelled a little bit but other than that it healed extremely fast! Had it for 3 years now.
Ears- normal- got when I was 9 and don’t remember.
Nipples- got done 1-2-2020, hurt a lot but now they feel pretty close to healed! 
Wrist tattoo- barely felt it.
Curve of my waist I have a big flower tattoo- didn’t hurt until it got to rib 3 hour tattoo. Got done about 8 years ago or so.
