28w2d anyone ever worry about stillbirth?

There really is no reason for my panic. But everyday if I domt feel him kick right away I panic. It sucks, and I know I shouldnt. But I cant be the only one out there worried about this.

The negative hormones dispersed by your baby by constantly worrying about them will stress and debilitate the state of your baby more. Focus on what you want to see in your life and that of your baby. Pray about the rest. I used to worry so much about this but I realized none of it is in my hands. I found peace after that. Now I’m just thankful for every kick, every roll, every minute I’m blessed to be pregnant. I believe genuinely God is in control and he has a very solid plan. It started with the conception of this baby in a month where I thought it couldn’t be because we didn’t try hard enough or the right way. The rest of the worrying was a distraction from the blessings and honesty wasted imagination. I finally gathered the courage to buy the first onesie. I hope y’all find the strength and that we all have our bAbies safe and strong.

Thank you ladies for your input and reassurance. I am trying So hard not to let these thoughts get the best of me. It took over a year to conceive him, and my husband lost twins previously so maybe it's all mixed. I'm not sure. But hes healthy so far, and growing like hes supposed to. I know its outta my hands, but I think that scares me.more than anything

It is a constant concern of mine too. I work in L&D and so I see patients come in. In general, a full term stillbirth occurs in less than 1% of pregnancies but when you work in L&D it appears as though it's more common. We always tell our patients to come in and get monitored for reassurance, rather than constantly worry at home.

Yes. My grandmother gave birth to a sleeping angel and had no idea until birth (due to it being 60 years ago, less equipment) and it scares me it might happen to me. I friend of mine lost hers at 38 weeks and didnt know for 1 week due to never feeling much movement. It was horrible. But its very rare. So try stay positive.

Didn't cross my mind until I was talking to my consult this week and we were discussing my VBAC and she said that the longer the pregnancy goes on the more chance of a still birth :O I never knew this!! So she said my doctor will only allow me to go to 40 weeks and then I'll have to have to have a section anything over is dangerous for the baby :O i never knew that before! If I had no complications (didn't have a section before) they would only let me go to 41 weeks and then induce me!

This is a huge fear I have and have had. But gotten worse as ive started my third trimester. But a close friend just had a still born the other day.... so it’s only gonna keep getting worse.

Yep and I was the same with my older boy when I was pregnant with him to, it's a horrible fear to have I just want to enjoy my pregnancy 😣💙
