Unsteady heart rate @ 8.5 weeks pregnant

My daughter had an ultrasound today to see how far along she is, and baby’s heart rate was 150s but would drop down to 60bpm and go back and forth. Baby is measuring where he/she should be, and the sac measured right too. Has anyone ever experienced this before and had a full term pregnancy? Everything I am reading online makes me believe the outcome isn’t going to be good.

I did read online that sometimes vaginal ultrasounds can cause the baby’s heart rate to drop and change due to pressure.
