My baby is 12 weeks old. She started sleeping fairly well when we figured out the swaddle and would sleep in her crib from about midnight to around 6 or 7 am. We had JUST started to transition her to one arm out of her swaddle me swaddle when she suddenly started rolling over from back to tummy. So now I am going back to work on nightshift and we suddenly can’t swaddle her at all. Her startle reflex is still strong. This is our first night and she absolutely refuses to sleep in her crib. I have tried just leaving her arms out of her swaddle me, using a nested bean, and just putting her in there in her jammies. She wakes up almost instantly or within 10 minutes screaming and I am unable to soothe her without picking her back up to rock. She will pass out hard on my chest but has never really liked sleeping on her back. I am so nervous for her to be alone with daddy all night tomorrow as I have been the one who was always up with her and I won’t be around. 😔
