Contractions?!

I had sex & after I had contractions for like 3 hours non stop my stomach was super hard it was painful I had to take a nap so I wouldn’t feel the pain & I still had them but they subsided after is that normal and btw I’m 31 weeks

It is quite normal to have cramps for several hours after sex. If you were able to nap through them, they were most likely not true labour contractions. Another sign that it was false labour is the fact that they eventually subsided. True labour contractions grow more and more intense and do not subside until the baby is born. But we always tell our patients, if you're concerned, you should go in to be reassured.

My doctor told me at my last appointment at 27 weeks that If I have more than 4 contractions in an hour I needed to go to labor and delivery.

I’ve had really bad BH everytime we’ve had sex the last few months. Usually they last about an hour, if I orgasm it’s longer.
