TTC specialist help? What to expect? Where to start?

Hi ladies, my fiancé and I have been ttc for over a year now. Little information about me, I have a regular period, every month lasting 5-7 days. But I get extreme cramps on the first day. Like terrible terrible cramps, that even one time had to go to the ER it was so bad. Other than that I’d say my period is normal. I have a history or back problems and have had injections (idk if that can mess up fertility🤷🏼‍♀️) Ive taken prenatals, stopped drinking, taken ovulation tests, and also tried preseed a time or 2. And yes I have also tried to even completely stop thinking about having a baby and let things take its course. Deleted this app and everything. I’ve only recently seen the sticky ovulation cm The past 3 months.

But I’ve finally decided that I need to go see a specialist. And I have no idea where to start. Who do I see first? What to expect? Who should I call? Do I go straight to a fertility specialist or go see a gyno? Idk ladies. Ive been holding back seeing a doctor as I have seen doctors so much for my back and other things, I hate going to the doctors. I’m scared of what they will say. But I am not getting pregnant and I’m ready for the leap. All I want is to be a mommy. So any information and comments will be helpful. Thank you 🙏🏼
