Feeding twins?

First time mom and they’re twins!🥰❤️ so my questions are mainly about feeding and sleeping schedules. Do they always have the same sleeping schedules with naps even when they’re older/toddlers? And what about when they’re still little babies if ones tired and one isn’t? If one isn’t hungry but one is so they have different eating Times is that just the way you gotta do it? Share some experiences please!! Thank you!!🤞❤️

You’ll get a wide variety of answers! We got our boys on the same nap schedule as soon as we could. I wouldn’t expect to do it in the first two months. For nursing, it’s faster to tandem since nursing takes so long as the beginning. Sometimes I liked the one on one time, or sometimes I was touched out and needed to give one side a break. For bottle feeding, it’s nice to keep them on the same schedule so you don’t forget which one was fed - ha! They have tools for helping bottle feed (table for two) if you don’t have an extra set of hands when they are young.

We just don't give them a choice really for feeding.  They eat at the same time which in turn makes them sleepy at the same time.

I have made it so they are on the same sleep times, they know the routine for going to bed now (5months old). They still do cat-nap at different times, which is nice for 1-1 with them, but for their big sleeps during the day and night time they are the same. As for feeds, I do the same feed times and at night if one wakes for a feed then they both get fed. I have had to do this because I also have 2 older school aged kids and can not be feeding every 1-2 hours and need them awake for school pick-up/drop-off.
