Birth control?

I had an endometrial ablation in July and if I get pregnant I will miscarry. I haven't been sexually active yet but I'm about to. I'm not on any type of birth control and I don't have my tubes tied or anything. Is condoms enough birth control or should I get on some type of birth control? I just didn't want to have to because I have high blood pressure, anxiety, tachycardia and svt. If you think I need to be on birth control, what kind do you recommend?
