SUPER runny diaper normal?

My son had 4 diapers like this yesterday, each more runny than the last. He also had this diaper this morning. I’ve been putting little amounts of prune juice in his bottles (per recommendation of my public health nurse) because he was mildly constipated when he started rice cereal. I’m going to stop doing that but I’m wondering if this means he is sick? Thanks in advance!

Ya that’s the prunes. If the cereal is constipating him maybe add more water to make it runny. Or you can give him a bit of water after he eats.

I only ever give my bub prunes one or maybe two days in a row. I find it has a very fast effect so I wouldn’t be doing it every day if the constipation has eased. Definitely stop that and see if poops go back to normal in a day or so. Make sure he’s having plenty of fluids though if he’s been doing so many runny poops.

It’s just the prune juice softening his stool however if it continues and he’s not drinking or has a temperature best bring him to doctors as could be an infection and he could become dehydrated from losing fluids so quick! Try keep an eye on his wet nappies as well, doctors usually want one good wet nappy every 6-12 hours
