Boudoir photoshoot?

Question

Thinking about getting this done just for my husband and to do it. 
But I have a few questions about it.. how did you find the right person? 
Was it expensive?
Was it worth it? 
I'm not the type to get pictures done of myself as I struggle with taking them on my own because I'm just insecure.

I just did one the other day! They are absolutely expensive. Some people charge for the session alone then sell packages for pictures or other gifts. You can always purchase your pictures then get things made from that.

I contacted a local photographer who I’ve used for other family shoots but haven’t seen her do boudoir. She had only done a couple but wanted to do more so that saved me a lot of money. It was also nice bc I was already comfortable around her. Also, I brought my best friend along. She also got some pics done for her husband. Playing music and dancing around also helped us get into a fun, feisty mood for pics. I was really nervous getting started but ended up feeling more confident than I have in a long time. I’m so glad I did the shoot! I think I look at the pics more often than my husband does 😍

They can be super expensive, especially if you go to a legit boudoir photographer who strictly does boudoir and offers hair and makeup and wardrobe.
I would definitely make sure that you're reading reviews because with something like that, it's important to that women have said that the photographer made them feel comfortable.

I did a boudoir photoshoot last year and loved it! I surprised my boyfriend with them as a birthday gift. So I just googled photographers that offered boudoir shoots and looked at reviews and their portfolios. For me, it was important that it was a package deal that included hair and make up because I don't normally do my hair or name up plus it always looks better when someone else does it for me lol yes, they are kind of expensive but so worth it! I would definitely do it again! The experience alone is so nice if you find the right photographer. If you are from Connecticut or live nearby I highly recommend Marilyn Riel Photography.

I honestly jumped on yelp and looked for a boudoir specializing photographer. Read TONS of reviews! She did my hair and make up 2 different ways and did 3 wardrobe changes. She did light editing and they came out SSOOO good. My hubby still keeps it in his night stand lol it was my wedding gift to him
