Does he still care a bit?

My ex and I have been broken up for almost 2 years and 6 months after breaking up I got into a new relationship. I’m 21 and ex is 20 FYI. Anyways, my now boyfriend gave me a promise ring! My ex re added me on snap (wasn’t aware that I never unadded him) and we caught up a bit through chat. Yes my boyfriend was fine with it. Anyways my ex saw my ring I posted and asked about it. Said I have a boyfriend and he told me I’m too young to get married. What????!!!! When I was with my ex we talked about someday getting married and he was saying he wanted it to be in our later 20s. I just stopped responding cause I’m gonna do what works best for me, but I can’t wrap my mind as to why he would even comment that. Does he still care or what is his problem?
