What made you fall in love?

When was the moment you realized you were in love with your S.O.?

We went on a week long trip to California. One day we were getting ready to go out. He had just gotten out of the shower and I said something silly, it wasn’t meant to be though,  he erupted into laughter. In that moment watching him laugh as hard as he was I couldn’t help but think I could listen to that laugh forever.. that’s what made me fall in love.

My SO and I had become good friends going on hikes, movies and local adventures around our area. We hit it off well and 6 months into our friendship I realized I loved him and wanted to be with him but I was nervous because I was 19 and he was 25 at the time and I thought why would he wanna be with a little girl 😂 so I started slowly moving on, slowly and slowly I'd stop talking to him and i was sad until one day he texted saying he didnt appreciate me forgetting him and wanted to see a movie. I took him up on his offer I met up with him at the movies and just looking at him made me realize how much I really missed him. Fast forward!!!! movie ended he walked me to my car where we talked for 30 min on how he missed me and we kissed!!!! Its now been 3 years with my SO and I love it 🥰

Mine was complicated...
I had just gotten out of a complicated relationship and my SO was my coworker and he asked me out literally the day after I ended things with my (ex)boyfriend from high school. 
He said he wouldn’t make me commit to him 😂
He picked me up in his under-performing Chevy. He immediately told me I smelt good. I wasn’t sure what this date would mean. We got Chinese food and a bottle of wine and went to his apartment. We drained the bottle and he let me rant about my family issues. We sat on the couch and I kissed him. He said “hey, let’s go to my room” I wasn’t sure what he wanted from me, but instead of having sex we sat on his bed and talked for hours. 
I think I’ve been in love with him since day one.

Literally on our first date. He was driving and we were listening to music and he sang, not caring if I thought he was good or bad (def good 😍) and his overall confidence made me fall in love with him

The moment I realized I was starting to fall in love with him was when I was able to look back at all the things I loved about him, especially the way no one has ever been able to get me to full on belly laugh like he does. The moment I realized I was in love with him was when the thought of us ever breaking up and him being with someone else put an endless pit in my stomach.

It was a lot of things. The way he made me feel. Safe, secure, cherished, able to be myself.  Not just things he did just how he is. I feel like the only person in his world which is difficult with kids.  I’ve never been treated like this in my life. He’s a dream still. Moved in after 3 months, had a moment of clarity at almost 6 months when I wanted to be legally bound to him forever. Then had to wait until our one year to get engaged and married 4 months later. After my ex husband I never thought I would find what I wanted, no way that it existed but I found it somehow. 
We are so similar. We communicate like crazy. Spend pretty much 24/7 together. I’ve never had anyone make me laugh like he does. I actually enjoy sex and finally experiencing connection with someone is awesome.

It was about 3 weeks into our relationship, he told me I love you after a week. I was hesitant but he never pushed me to reciprocate. But after seeing him truly love me, he put me first in everything we did, considered how I would feel if the guys asked him to go somewhere, and the way that he treated me. Honestly he treats me as though I were made of glass/his everything I've never experienced anything like that before him. We just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary yesterday ❤
