Last night was the first night my husband choked me. This morning I woke up with his hand mark on my neck and bruises on my shoulders..
I’m just so confused, I feel violated and I don’t know what to do. He’s crying saying we shouldn’t be together that I don’t deserve that, I just can’t find any words for him. I haven’t spoke to him

No. He won't change. At least he loves you enough to recognize that you deserve better (if he's saying it from a genuine place vs trying to mend fences). If I had to guess, I would say he's not very confident that he won't do it again if he's saying you shouldn't be together.

They don't change. Never will. It, however, is up to you to decide how you want to proceed. First and foremost, keep yourself safe. Your life isn't worth his "love." All women react differently, some stay and play the victim others leave and become one less statistic. The choice is all yours honey. At the end of the day can you lay your head down and feel safe in bed next to him. If you can't, that's your answer.
