AF or implantation bleeding?

Hi y’all. I’m 12 dpo and 3d from AF. Yesterday and today light to medium spotting. Yesterday it was barely noticeable and pink. Last night we had sex and then this morning I noticed the spotting was a little redder and there was a bit more of
It with maybe a little tiny tiny bit of clots or something in it.
I’ll be fine either way we haven’t been doing this long but I’m desperately curious. I am not usually early. What do you think?

There are many reasons to find blood mid-cycle (irritated cervix from sex, stress, medication, ruptured nabothian cyst on cervix, old ovulation blood, period coming 'early', to name a few), so its very hard to pinpoint exactly why. Too many people automatically  jump to the conclusion or expectation that it was implantation bleeding, and more often than not, that is simply not the case. This app makes IB seem SO much more frequent than it actually is. Random mid cycle spotting is very common and often unexplained! 🤷‍♀️ Good luck!!!
