Am I taking advantage of him???

Hi ladies, I just recently became single after being in a relationship for 3 years. I’m just trying to enjoy life with friends & an old friend messaged me asking if I’d like to go to a laker game with him

(Back story)-

He use to really really like me about ehhhh 6 years ago and would go above and beyond but I just didn’t feel the connection so I ended things. No hard feelings. Didn’t go far at all.

So I haven’t seen him in awhile, anyways he messaged me and I wouldn’t mind having a friendship with him.. saying he’d pay for my ticket and “let’s go”. I told my best friend and she’s saying if I go I’m taking advantage of him?? She kind of got in my head but I don’t see how I am, he offered to pay and it’s not like I’m going to go MIA on him after.

Am I wrong??
