No apartments are accepting me!

So when l was dumb and 17 l committed 3 feloneys. I am working really hard to get my life back together again. BUT, every apartment l apply to is declining me due to my criminal past. Every application l do is wasting money and my time as they charge $50 to $75 per application. Im beyond depressed. What can l do. I easy have the money for a 2 bedroom that l need. Im at a loss.
