How long are your LO’s staying awake during the day?

My baby boy is still struggling to stay awake for 2 hours at a time. How can I help him stay awake longer? He will only nap for 45mins to an hour

2 hours awake is actually perfectly normal at this stage.  Naps could be a little longer but not every baby follows guidelines exactly.  My LO takes probably twice as many naps as listed and they last 15-90 minutes at a time but we’re also in that sleep regression phase yet.

Our girl is still more like 90 minutes! We’re working on getting to 2 hours. So I think you’re doing fine where you are-if you miss the window and they get overtired it’s harder for them to sleep. Counterintuitive.

My bubs only stays up for two hours at a time too!

2 hours is normal! My son is awake 1.5 to 2.5 hours and it’s more often exactly 2 hours before he’s ready for his nap!
