Is it worth getting a scan before the 12 weeks?

Question

Thinking of paying for a reassurance scan before 12 weeks, can get one from 6 weeks as interested to know if all okay..  
anyone had one and are they worth it? 
Im 5 weeks now.. would probably wait another couple of weeks or so :)

I had a reassurance scan with my first at 8 weeks & 3 days, it was such a lovely experience and it really is amazing seeing them that early and how they grow.
I would book it for when you're 8 weeks+ because the sonographer said you don't really see much before then.
I'll post one of mine from my 1st at 7 weeks + 2 days and then the 8 weeks + 3 days, massive growth spurt hahaha

For me it’s just reassuring to know things are okay. I’m having my early scan in a few hours, I’m 7 weeks.

My little sister is getting married in February, so me and my husband are flying to Finland for the wedding. I just found out that I'm pregnant on Monday, and as per my calculations I should be on week 8-ish when we fly.. so I'm planning on having a scan right before we go, and maybe have a follow up a week or two later to make sure everything is all good.
I had mmc last September at week 7, so trying not to stress myself too bad with this one, but will definitely not be waiting till week 12... 😅

Honestly... I am thinking about it too. My last pregnancy (and first) we found out at my first ultrasound at 9 weeks that I lost the baby at 6 weeks. I'm not saying this to scare you at all. Just saying it because I wish I would have known sooner. I may try a 3rd party ultrasonagrapher for a heartbeat check around 6 weeks. If it helps to reassure you the go for it girl!
