Help!! Baby is sick🤒

My 14 month old has never had more than a little cold before but last night I heard her whimpering on the monitor, not crying just kind of whining it was so sad. I go in there and she is burning up!! I check her temp on the forehead it’s 100.2degrees f. All she wants to do is be held and nurse.

My MIL who we saw two days ago said she started coming down wth something yesterday a fever and sore throat . Says she doesn’t think it’s the flu though.

I gave my baby some Tylenol and will make an appointment with the doctor but any advice please I have never seen her with a temperature like this it’s breaking my heart
