Are nursing bras really necessary ?

I just walked by Victoria’s Secret and saw very cute lacy bras... I’m thinking do I really need a nursing bra? Can I wear those VS bras already? 😩

Every time I switch to a regular bra I get blocked ducts.  I wore one of my VS bras yesterday and have been pumping and nursing all day to try to unblock a few ducts 😫

I wore mostly normal bras with my first and the process of constantly pulling them down stretched them out and ruined them, plus I had tons of blocked ducts. It really sucks that there are no cute nursing bras 😒.

Nursing bra is comfortable and convenient but I have been wearing regular bras since I went back to work at the beginning of Dec. So far I don’t think it’s effecting my milk supply and I haven’t experienced clog for a while. I used to have clog every week even without any bras. I find messaging while pumping helps. And if I need to pump or nurse, I just unhook the bra to release the tension. I also don’t leak after my milk is regulated so I don’t put additional patting either.
