Unsafe sex!

So today I had unsafe sex for the first time with my boyfriend and it was more of a quickie but he didnt cum inside or anything, but he told me he didnt see any precum when he went to check his penis in the bathroom and me being a skeptic and not knowing much about those types of things I want to know if theres any risks or anything in that matter. I also stopped ovulating and a friend told me those are what we call "safe days" and I just want to be more informed on the subject if anybody would like to help me out.
