I can’t speak on behalf of anyone else and I’m not sure what the etiquette for that is since I didn’t do a diaper raffle for my own baby shower, but I wouldn’t find it tacky if I received a baby shower invite with that, personally. The nice thing about it is that either people will participate or they won’t, so no offense should be taken by anyone who is invited to the shower. It’s the same thing as someone sending out a little note that says “in lieu of a card, please give a baby book instead.” And if for some reason someone brings you diapers that are not chlorine free, genuinely thank them for their kindness without mentioning they’re not what you asked for (because that would totally be tacky) and then quietly exchange them at Target. You can exchange unopened boxes of diapers there even without a receipt.

I would maybe just ask for the brands you want. Some people may not know which ones are chlorine free and may just opt not to participate instead.

Not at all! I mentioned to some of my aunts that I’m just asking for diapers wipes and gift cards (we still have everything from our first son so we don’t need anything) and they asked me to put the specific brand I want on the invitations so they get what I want.
