Need of energy

I was wondering.. Since energy drinks and cafeïne are a big no-no..

Where do you need an energy fix without eating candy?

I'm scared of potentially getting diabetes..

I'm working nights and since I had an appointment with my psychologist today I only get half the sleep I'm supposed to have..

So since I'll have to work until 6 AM tonight I'll need something to keep me going.. (It's now 11 AM)

So on my way home I got myself instant noodles, fruit juice and apples.. And I still had a few banana's at the house..

Which is still sugar but I think healthier than candy..

What do you take or eat to get more energy?
