Recurrent UTIs and BV

Hello Ladies,

Do any of you take pills as a precaution to prevent UTIs and BV? My ph balance gets thrown off very easily especially during sex. (I pee before and after and also shower, but it doesnt help). I don't switch my laundry soap or my body wash ever. This is my third case of BV in a month and I'm so miserable and uncomfortable. Everytime my husband and I are intimate it results in ethier a UTI or BV:/ ive talked to my doctor about it as she only tells me its because our ph balances clash with one another. I'm going to start back up on D Mannose, but any suggestions for the BV?
