Glucose test questions??

My doctor had me take the 1 hour glucose test at 18 weeks and I passed without question. She scheduled me again for another 1 hour glucose test. Does anyone have any idea why they would do that? Obviously I’m going to ask her when I see my doctor at my next appointment. Thank you in advance!

Maybe there was a concern early on for some reason...? I didn’t take mine until 28weeks. A lot of changes from 18w to third trimester.

Glucose tests are normally done in the early third trimester. Around 28 weeks. Not sure why you took one so early unless she had concerns.

I had one at 12 weeks and having another at 28 weeks. History of diabetes in my family.

The earlier one was probably ordered because there was a concern that you might have GD. The later one is because that’s when they normally do it.

I've always done it in the second and third trimester so I'd say it's normal.

I technically have high blood pressure. But that’s being controlled by a baby aspirin. It’s been about 124/80 ish. And she hasn’t been upset over that. And I have sinus tachycardia. But no history of diabetes in my family or myself at all. I am overweight though.
