TMI Miscarriage?

Question

TMI, I have had multiple positive pregnancy tests including a digital. Just this week though. I’m now bleeding a lot and have clots. Would it be safe to say this is an early miscarriage? I’ve never been in this situation before. Do you just play it out? Or is this something that needs to be seen by a doctor? I do have an appointment mid next week, which was going to be to confirm the pregnancy.

Unfortunately if that's what is happening you just have to let it run its course. There's nothing they can do to stop it. I'd still keep your appointment and let them know what's been going on. They'll probably check to make sure everything passed naturally so you don't get any type of infection. So sorry for your loss. 💗

Honestly, there’s not much they can do if it is an early M/C. They’ll give you a scan and let you know what’s gonna pass. I would prepare for the worst. Maybe call your doc and let them know what’s going on and they can get you in sooner. However, don’t be discouraged. Some women have had bleeding in the first trimester and found out it ended up being a sub chronic hematoma or something similar. But I would definitely speak with your doctor about it.
