34 weeks pregnant...feels like I have the flu 🤒
So a month ago I had the flu. All was fine and dandy but 3 days ago I started to feel really sick like I have the flu but I know I don’t. I know I am NOT sick at all. I just feel very exhausted, I’ve been having cramping in my lower abdomen above pelvic bone, lower back pain, I’ve been having constant chills, a headache that won’t go away and a fever that keeps coming back once the Tylenol wears off. I haven’t had any diarrhea but have been pooping unusually more frequently and I’ve only vomited once which is also unusual for me. I went into labor and delivery yesterday because my cramping got worse and it’s nonstop. They kept me for 20 mins to monitor baby and did a urine sample. Urine came back fine. Baby was fine but her heart rate was on the high side. They sent me home after 20 mins since they said I was just having irregular contractions and didn’t have a fever at the time. They didn’t check my cervix because they said unless I’m leaking or spotting they don’t like to check until I’m at least 36 weeks. Has anybody experienced anything like this and the doctors were wrong or ended up going into labor soon after symptoms like these? I’m just worried because I don’t want to deliver another premature baby. I would rather my baby stray in a few weeks longer. Also, I feel like they weren’t listening to my concerns and just rushed me out.
