Well, we told our parents 😬

My husband and I are going to adopt instead of having bio kids. My mother in law is worried that my husband is gonna get a vasectomy, and that makes me feel a certain way ( I don’t want him to get a vasectomy in case of my death or divorce, but is that what his mom is thinking too? Or that I’ll change my mind or there will be an oops? Does she want these things to happen? ). And my mom just isn’t talking about it.

I get why they are upset. They are both women who were advised against having children for medical reasons, and my perfectly healthy self is choosing not to of my own free will.

Anyone have a similar experience?
