Lost mucus plug and cramping at 33 weeks..?

I’m 33 weeks pregnant and I had a very large amount of not normal discharge expell out onto a tissue today..

It was a huge jelly like amount that covered the whole tissue and had a off white yellowish tinge to it. It also had very very tiny amounts of blood in it.

After that little bits kept coming out which I managed to get a photo of..

Would you say this is my mucus plug??

I’ve been having a lot of pressure and period like cramping in lower belly and back too.

I’ve been reading about losing a mucus plug and there is a lot of contradictions about it doesn’t mean labour is near, preterm labour and that they can also regenerate itself?

I do know that baby is already engaged aswell don’t know if that makes a difference too

This is my first pregnancy so not sure what to look out for/expect.

Do I need to inform for my midwife ASAP or leave it.. I really don’t know what’s best! xx
