I'm 17 and I have really low self esteem from being black. That's it. I go to a majority white school and I'm not treated the same as the white girls are. Every guy I like turns me down or no one really even bothers to ask me out. I started sleeping with this guy for a while but eventually I told him that he needs to make me his girl in order to keep seeing me because I personally don't care for having sex with someone who you aren't dating (Not judging anyone who likes casual sex) and he didn't want to. It's truly overwhelming growing up your whole life knowing you're gonna be automatically ruled out for the color of your skin. It's even more overwhelming when you constantly wish you weren't black. I bought skin bleaching creams when I was just 14 years old 🙄 I'm trying to love myself now but it's hard trying to feel pretty when you're not pretty enough for society. So I wanted to start a thread filled with black women. Here's me. ❤
