Gym workout and stomach pain... 😬

Pre pregnancy I did HIIT 3x-4x a week (2 yrs and before that I worked out at the gym 3-4x). My income shrunk and so my HIIT classes had to go. Since I stopped that in August I was struggling to get back into my own gym routine. I’m 5’7 and usually range between 142-148. When I got pregnant I was at 150. I’m 15+4 and have gained 10lbs. I’ve been trying to get back into the gym to slow my weight gain (goal is to gain 25-35lbs total).

Anyway, today at the gym I felt some sharp pains in my stomach. It’s mostly around my belly button but I got some higher pains in my upper ab area. It kinda feels like lightening crotch just less intense and in my stomach. I’ve also had sharp pains under my belly button when I’ve power-walked (I was running late and power-walked like 1/2 mi).

Anyone else feeling pains in their stomach when they workout? My guess is that my abs are weak from not really exercising hard in the last few months and now I’m trying to get back into it plus being preggo means I lose ab muscle tone. Just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this and if it was something bad. I don’t see my doc again until the end of feb so I’m wondering if it’s something I should worry about.

Also, I think I’m getting anxious about working out because I’m feeling fat. I think my bump is starting to show but it feels big and I’m wondering if I’m just chubby. As a FTM it’s really hard to know if my stomach should be looking like it is or if it’s just because I’m chubby 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️
