Do I have to sterilize bottles after each use?

I’m never heard of people I know sterilizing them for smaller babies.

I’ve never sterilized anything ever. Just washed with hot water and dish soap 🤷🏻‍♀️. I don’t think it’s necessary unless baby is preemie, has an autoimmune deficiency of some sort or you live somewhere with crap water.

i’ve honestly just put them in the dishwasher every night and have always been fine ? i run it once a day anyways sticking the bottles in it isn’t a huge deal. i’m not gonna run out this baby and get a special bottle sterilizer though.

I had enough bottles to get me through the day and I sterilized them at the end of the night.  Probably will do the same with this one.  I mean the main reason for bottle sterilization is if you don't trust your water source so if you've got reasonably clean water then you don't really have to worry about it.  Im paranoid about that kind of shit tho so the peace of mind is worth it to me.

You should wash and sterilise after every single use especially when they are newborn, once they get to 6 months it’s not needed as much but you still have to wash after every use but at that age they start licking the floor and everything in their mouth

I had enough bottles for the day to feed & washed at the end of the night & sterilized for the following day. I kept my pump parts/bottles in the refrigerator in a ziplock bag & washed & sterilized them at the end of the night as well.
