Owlet sock and cam monitor worth it?

I am so torn on egg monitor I want!! I’ve heard good things about the owlet, but is it worth it? I want a good size screen that’s super clear, so using my phone seems super convenient and also love the idea of monitoring vitals as well. Worth it?

I think the owlet is overkill if you have a normal, healthy baby. 
A camera monitor is convenient, I have an Arlo & really like it.

I love our owlet (we just have the sock) However, now I can’t fall asleep unless my 10 month old has that sock on. It’s an extra peace of mind that I’ve conditioned myself to rely on. We have a Motorola Monitor (just a regular one camera monitor—non wifi) with the sock monitor on at night.

I had the owlet with my first and I absolutely loved it. She wore it for 18 months and it’s put up for her sister to arrive. 
Without the owlet we never would have known that her O2 levels were dangerously low when she had RSV at 9 months. We immediately took her to the hospital and we were admitted. She showed no other signs we were told to watch for so I thank god for that sock.
