The chances of you contracting coronavirus or anything related to it simply by going to a Chinese restaurant are infinitesimally small. A Chinese restaurant is not a guaranteed coronavirus incubator simply because that strain of a particular virus is active in parts of China. Chinese people deserve better than to be viewed with fear and suspicion in all this.

Only if someone at the restaurant was recently in an infected area, caught the illness and their droplets (sneeze, cough...) were in the air you’re breathing. I don’t know if it’s transmittable through food or surfaces or not. I’m confident that the airport screenings will help minimize this. The flu is also a major concern too 😣 Coronavirus can affect people differently just like the flu. For some it’s just a bad cold, others it could be dangerous. Anyone working anywhere could’ve been exposed to someone with the Coronavirus, not just Chinese restaurants.

You can literally get it anywhere an infected person has been, so I guess yeah. You could get it at a grocery store, library, hair salon.... I could go on. We gonna die.
