Is this safe to eat cold?

28 weeks pregnant I know they say not to eat cold deli meat but this says fully cooked. Can I eat it cold? I’ve been craving so bad but I don’t like warm meat 😖😖

Ive had bomohna cold hotdogs cold, ham cold and subway subs cold #momof4 and im due with twins now and everything ia fine...enjoy your meat :)

Doctors recommended that all deli meat is heated up so yes technically this should be heated before eating, although most people eat it with no issue

My doctor told me to stay away from deli meats because sit is highly processed and contains a lot of bacteria that will be harmful to the baby

You have a low risk of getting listeria if you don’t heat it up. But like with most things in pregnancy you SHOULD be fine there’s just a small chance that you could get it so that’s why doctors recommend heating it up.

I’ve never heated up deli meat...because that sounds gross to me pregnant. Ate and eat Jimmy Johns and sandwich’s galore.

All deli meat is fully cooked. The issue is that with cold meat sitting out in places like delis, it’s a possibility of listeria. It’s rare, but happens. With that being said, I ate Italian hoagies until my heart was content! Do what feels right to you! No judgements!
