Uterus on one side?

I’ve noticed recently during my Braxton Hicks contractions that my uterus is mostly on my right side!  My left side stays soft. Could it just be that baby prefers that side? I have an appointment next week but figured I’d ask if anyone else has experienced this. I don’t remember it being like this during my first pregnancy.

When I have my braxton hicks its always on the right side too. Its freakin hard only on one side lol but the other side is really soft. That might be the baby. My girl likes to stay on the right side though..

Well actually Braxton Hicks contractions are practice contractions. Meaning your uterus is trying to find out the correct ways to squeeze and what rhythm to go into for real contractions. So it could be Braxton Hicks contractions and your uterus is still trying to figure out how to completely tighten up (instead it’s just doing one side right now)

I had the same thing and asked my doctor. She said if it’s one side it’s likely the baby. With a Braxton hicks contraction the whole uterus should get firm and hard.
