This is my third pregnancy/3rd c-section. I was 0% effaced last Tuesday and today I jumped to 50% effaced. I am not dilated at all. With my first pregnancy I was two days past due when my water broke and I was 75% effaced and 3cm dilated. I have a csection scheduled for next Friday. I am a high school teacher and my fear is that my water will break while teaching. Does the effacement seem to be moving quickly?
