I am so upset

There’s a serial biter at daycare. Today he bit my son. I asked for an incident report on it and they told me that they just have it on the app but that they could request a copy for me. I said yes, please. I am more or less concerned with the caregivers in his classroom at this point—If said baby is a serial biter, shouldn’t they keep him away from other babies or keeping a closer eye on him when interacting with other babies?

If you are a daycare giver or been in this situation— what is proper protocol? I was just casually told—there was a biting incident.
